Arana Touch Football Association plays ALL games at the Grovely Sports Fields at Hanran Street (behind the Grovely State School) of a Wednesday afternoon from 4.00pm. The Club conducts two seasons a year from late January to mid-March and from late August to the end of November.
Individuals and or teams can nominate in our competitions and we will place individuals into a team. Players and teams receive coaching and the Associations conducts Gala Days through-out the school holidays.
Our Arana Rep teams go to the Qld Junior State Cup in July. Competition is conducted for both boys and girls competitions in under 8’s Under10’s under 12’s under 14’s and under 16’s

Arana Little Athletics was established in 1978 and since then has continued to grow with a current membership base of over 400 athletes.
The club has age groups from Tiny Tots (3-5year) through to Under 17’s. Arana Little Athletics season runs from September to March with the sign on normally occurring in August of each year.
Little Athletics is an activity in which the whole family participates in an environment of “Family, Fun and Fitness”.
West Arana Hills Rugby League Football Club (WAHRLFC) provides facilities & support for children within the community to learn and enjoy their sport in a safe and friendly environment. All officials hold a working with children blue card and the games are played under the safe play code set by the NRL.
The club aims to provide teams from U6-18’s, girls up to U12, along with an U20’s, opens and Masters (35+) for the seniors. Direct associate with West Brisbane Panthers. We run a specialised program for U3-6 yrs. Panther Cubs specifically designed with fun and enjoyment first and foremost. West Arana also runs a Touch Competition.
Waratahs Sporting Club is a family-friendly softball club. We play summer competition at Downey Park on Saturdays.
Junior games are played in the morning and senior and U16 games in the afternoon.
We believe our strength as a club lies in the fact we are all active participants and supporters of our teams. Many of us have been with the club as juniors ourselves and carry the pride and personal investment with us both on and off the field.
The Ferny Districts Cricket Club was established in 1977 to encourage active participation in the game of cricket in a spirit of good sportsmanship and fair play.
We offer cricket for boys and girls 5‑16yo in a range of formats including Milo In2Cricket, T20Blast, Super6, Girls teams and Saturday cricket (competition grades from U12).We also offer cricket for adults 16+ in Grades A1 to C2, Saturday & Sunday, with summer & winter comps.

Westside Grovely Football Club provides the opportunity for all members of the community to participate in soccer.
We field teams from under6’s through to seniors. Our grading policy ensures all players compete in their appropriate level. The also actively promotes the attributes of sportsmanship and teamwork in the atmosphere of friendship through sport.
Westside Grovely Football Club shares their facilities with the Brisbane Paralympic Football Program, the program is fun and encourages family participation. Our aim is to get young people with a disability to stay active and healthy.
Arana Ascot Junior Hockey Club trains at Keperra Picnic Grounds, 22 Tramway Street, Ferny Grove.We cater for young lady hockey players aged between 5 to 17 years and boys under 7 and Under 9.

Arana Netball Club Inc. wears the colours of red, black and white as a result of our origins and continued affiliation with the Arana Leagues Club.
The main winter season extends from late March to August with teams playing in the Downey Park Netball Association.
Sign On for the winter season normally occurs in late Jan/early Feb each year. Players also take part in night fixtures and carnivals organized by other associations.Players range from 8 years old to Opens. Arana Netball aims to provide the means for players of all ages and abilities to play organized team sport, in order to promote healthy bodies and minds.
